Africa's Diaspora Health

medieval-armor-detail-JNWTZYF.jpg

The African Diaspora Association of Public Health Professionals (ADAPHP), LLC, was established on August 08, 2023. The term ‘public health professional’ used here is intended as an expansive, all-inclusive term for those having tangible impacts on the public’s health. ADAPHP works to unify and support the African diaspora lineages within Africa, the Americas, and other global regions. ADAPHP supports African diaspora public health professionals engaged in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM). This includes scholarship, AI usage, employment, and healthcare infrastructure implementation and ownership.

Historical marginalization has worked to the detriment of those in the African diaspora pursuing STEAM and public health-related education and career opportunities. Dispelling misinformation and disinformation regarding the African diaspora’s historical contributions to science, public health, and medicine is an essential prerequisite to further progress. This requires reeducation in the wake of traditional, systematic, racially biased miseducation regarding the African diaspora’s critical contributions and involvement in these scientific disciplines. Strengthening community identity and resiliency with African diaspora public health providers is essential to ensure that positive, tangible health impacts occur.

ADAPHP’s membership, salesforce, and customers arise from global geographic areas where African diaspora descendants reside. Effective and beneficial alliances and partnerships with other public health and STEAM-related entities, the public, media, and governmental institutions is also desirable.

The goal of ADAPHP is to perfect African diaspora health and wellness through unity, leadership, education, employment, and healthcare infrastructure ownership. Such an approach requires the creation of African diaspora-centric databases, ADAPHP product lines, and community-based interventions. The product lines, Historiplex, Occuplex, and Artiplex, are described in greater detail when you select the icon on this webpage. We have a team of experts dedicated to the provision of accurate and updated information relevant to the practice of public health. Links are also provided to well recognized and trusted public health websites.
