ADAPHP, LLC, dba Occuplex, addresses the fiscal, educational, and certification needs of African diaspora public health professionals. Science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) education, training, and employment requires funding. In addition, a concerted effort must be made to include those within the African diaspora for optimal community-based performance outcomes to occur. Public health, emergency response, and environmental health interventions require active community member participation and not just passive compliance. As such, a goal of Occuplex is to increase African diaspora education, employment, and corporate ownership in the rapidly evolving STEAM-related marketplaces. Online and in-person training and certification seminars, including the use of simulators and simulation methods, will be offered by Occuplex.
